Re: RTC chip obsolete
DON'T PANIC (as Douglas Adams is fond of saying) It's the X1226 obsolecence I was refering to - WOW was that a year ago! I use an X1205 - almost same as X1226 but has no EEPROM. Thanks for details on newer alternative - I am having a devil of a time with the Intersil alternative ISL 12026 and wonder...

Re: RTC chip obsolete
Thanks for that and I fully understand the reluctance post system files.
Any chance that anyone know what chip you are using on your new hardware?

RTC chip obsolete
Hi Guys, My company uses NetBurner software on our own hardware (we have a source code license) and have encountered the obsolecence of the RTC chip problem. I note that Release 2.3 of the NNDK has support for a new replacement and an updated driver - is it possible to post this new driver for a loy...

Re: PPP daemon woes
Nice one,
I too am having PPP woes and tried implementing the PPP echo request.
The NB code already responds to PPP echo request with an echo reply (do_ser in ppp.cpp) but had no way to generate a PPP echo request.
Still working on it...
Thanks for the tip on waiting for eClosed though, very useful.

Re: Subclipse & Subversion instead of CVS?
We have been using SVN since day one. I was actually using eclipse before it was "officially" released with NetBurner builds so can vouch for it's robustness. The IDE just didn't cut it with us, we need a command line build to pass escrow requirements. Get the plug in here: http://subclips...

RF will find a way!
I had one design where a swage pin fitted to tune the processor crystal frequency at ICT was acting like an antenna, to pass emission testing it had to be removed and a test pad added instead.

OMG a tester!
I guess if you can't type more than 32 characters then it's limited to 32 characters.

Re: RFID Boards
You don't say which standard you are looking for.
we use Promag MF7, very reliable, for Mifare USN reading from CardPOS europe
http://www.cardpos.co.uk/product.php?pID=182
They have a shed load of other readers too for other standards.
